Celebrating Four Years Of Doing Disability Differently

Since we launched back in 2018, our brand phrase has always been more of a promise. ‘Disability Done Differently’ - we interact, connect and grow as a team and community. 

It is through this that we have been able to grow over the years from one luxe boutique apartment, to over six beautiful properties with more than 45 staff across the Sunshine Coast, organically growing to meet the needs of our guests.

We feel lucky that we were able to continue to grow our business through one of the hardest financial times in recent years, not only to support the very important needs of our guests, but also to provide employment security for our hard working Care Team.

Celebrating an incredible milestone is nothing unless we celebrate it with our dedicated team, guests and families who are part of the Lavender Co family and are always at the forefront of our business. 

Later this month, we will be hosting an event for our guest families to celebrate how far we have come with their support over the last four years. Through this event, we will be able to donate all proceeds to a charity very close to our hearts, Currimundi Special School, adding to the impact of this celebration. 

We will also have a social event for our staff to recognise their hard work, converting one of our monthly Care Team social events into a 4th birthday!

Our next-steps include growing our offering of luxe boutique accommodation to offer more SIL accommodation to the special needs community.
