Day Programs For Adults With Disabilities

Whether you need daytime support only or would like to include it in your supported independent living (SIL) services or NDIS short term accommodation, our day programs for individuals with disabilities provide great opportunities for your loved one to experience something new, while you take some time to relax. Based on the Sunshine Coast, Lavender Co’s disability day programs are holistically centred around fun and capacity building.

During our day programs for adults with disabilities, our guests receive chef-prepared meals, get involved in goal orientated activities and are consistently supported by familiar staff. Our care team pride themselves on ensuring all needs are met, and guests are heard and supported with the utmost care.

NDIS Social And Community Participation

Our disability day programs are designed to inject fun and adventure into our guests’ lives whilst expanding skills through social and community participation. We provide one-to-one, personalised support throughout the day, ensuring that our guests feel comfortable and receive the assistance they need.

Since we are based on the Sunshine Coast, the individuals involved in our local disability day programs have access to some of the most beautiful beaches, bush walks, cycling paths, fishing zones, and communities of like minded people. These kinds of supported activities encourage individuals to meet new people, establish personal connections, learn life skills and try new things. They also allow guardians and families to attend work, run errands or enjoy a day for themselves whilst feeling confident that their loved one is cared for and safe.

As registered NDIS providers, we offer supported social and community participation that is covered in your plan. Chat with our team about how you can get NDIS social and community participation covered in your plan.
