Luxe Boutique Disability Accommodation

We offer boutique, disability housing on the Sunshine Coast, which sets us apart from traditional disability housing. Instead of cold and clinical facilities, we have warm and inviting homes nestled in the beautiful Sunshine Coast suburbs, surrounded by nature and greenery.

With multiple properties, our care team will expertly assign guests at the most suitable home, taking into consideration each individual's needs. Some of our properties have large gardens, and multiple bedrooms, whilst others are smaller apartments offering our guests the chance to feel like they can live more independently. Whether your loved one is staying with us long-term, short-term, or just stopping in for a day program, they will feel right at home in our modernised, comfortable properties.

Our Disability Care Sunshine Coast Services

Lavender Co offers three types of disability care on the Sunshine Coast: Supported Independent Living (SIL), NDIS Short-Term Accommodation (STA), and Disability Day Programs. We believe in a holistic approach when it comes to our disability care services.

Our SIL service provides 24/7 support to our guests from our fully trained care team. They assist guests with everyday tasks and help them to build skills, communication and confidence so they can learn to live an empowered, independent life.

If you choose SIL for your loved one, they will get to stay in our disability housing on the Sunshine Coast, receive one-to-one support, and enjoy community participation and skill building. Our SIL service offers assisted living services that help individuals with disabilities live happy and healthy lives.

Our NDIS Short Term Accommodation (STA) provides families and carers with first-rate care, and allows them to feel confident their loved ones are in safe hands with a compassionate and qualified team. This option is perfect for families who need more temporary accommodation for their loved one.

This type of respite care provides your loved one with delicious and nutritious chef-prepared meals, 24/7 support, socialisation and empowering activities.

Our team also encourages guests to plan, shop and prepare their own meals, with support, to help build their practical skills. We give our guests many opportunities to build practical life skills like this, to become more independent. Skill-building is at the forefront of our mission.

Our Disability Day Programs are centred around capacity-building, where guests engage in goal-oriented activities, supported by our caring staff. Group activities allow guests to try new things, build on their social and relationship skills and have fun in a safe, and inclusive environment.

The programs offered include a wide range of experiences, both inside and outside our properties, making the most of the wonderful Sunshine Coast. From cooking, creative arts workshops, gardening, fishing, bush walks, beach or pool activities, there is something to spark the interest of each of our guests. With the support of our compassionate and experienced team, our guests are encouraged to try new things, meet new people, and establish personal connections, all while developing essential life skills and making memorable experiences.

We are proud to be based on the Sunshine Coast, offering our guests access to some of the most beautiful beaches, bush walks, cycling paths, fishing zones, and vibrant communities. From Buderim to Yandina, our locations offer a scenic backdrop with the convenience of local medical centres and shops only a short drive away.

Our Disability Day Programs are designed to inject fun and adventure into our guests' lives while encouraging social and community participation. Our one-to-one, personalised support ensures that our guests feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the day.

We hold regular community events at Lavender Co for the families of all our guests so they can spend quality time together in a fun, relaxed environment.
