We’re not just respite care accommodation or a Sunshine Coast NDIS provider. We are a team of passionate, caring and inclusive individuals dedicated to creating a safe, fun and enriching experience for all our guests.
As we journey from our humble beginnings to becoming a trusted provider with six beautifully renovated properties and a team of 35 dedicated staff, we’re excited to share our values and mission with you.
Our Journey
In July 2018 we started with just one respite apartment with the vision to transform the landscape of disability care. Fast forward to today, we proudly employ 35 dedicated staff and offer respite care on the Sunshine Coast at six beautifully renovated properties. But our growth is not solely defined by numbers. It’s about the community we’ve built and the impact we’ve had on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Community First
At Lavender Co., we understand that our role goes far beyond providing accommodation. We’re a community-first NDIS provider, and our services are designed to ensure that individuals with intellectual disabilities have not just a place to stay, but a space to thrive.
Service that embraces inclusivity
Our service offerings are rooted in inclusivity and centred on the well-being of our guests.
Supported independent living - We offer a home away from home, where we provide holistic, one-to-one support and boutique accommodation for guests with special needs. Our trained care team empowers guests to live as independently as possible while building their skills. With our personalised support, guests feel connected and supported throughout their stay.
Short-term accommodation - Lavender Co. creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests, allowing caretakers and family members to take a break. It’s a home away from home where loved ones can rest assured that their family members are in safe hands, and guests can enjoy an enriching experience.
Day support - We take pride in being a community-first provider, offering short and long-term accommodation for people with intellectual disabilities. At Lavender Co., we provide personalised one-to-one support for our guests, including dietitian approved meals, goal-oriented activities, and familiar support staff. Every individual need is seen and cared for in our support community.
Respite care in our vibrant homes on the Sunshine Coast
Lavender Co. is based on the stunning Sunshine Coast, provides respite care to our guests with access to the beach, cycle paths, parks, shops, and beautiful boutique accommodation. But it’s not just the picturesque location that makes our Sunshine Coast disability support special. It’s the supportive and inclusive community that surrounds them. We’re proud to be based in an area where all needs are met, seen, and cared for.
